How to become well-known in your niche by marketing yourself?

After you start blogging, soon you’ll find that there are other people working on the same niche. You’ll find them often around you. After a period of blogging you’ll realize that you are living in a village with them.

These other people are actually your competitors in your niche. You have to compete with them following the best strategies of blogging. You have to be different from them. It can be possible through content marketing.

I have found an article about this on ProBlogger. In this article the writer Victor Ijidola has discusses some strategies that I think are critical for niche bloggers. Check the article from here.

I think that Victor's tip number 4 is the best.

Motivate Yourself!
“Failure should be our teacher, not our undertaker. Failure is delay, not defeat. It is a temporary detour, not a dead end. Failure is something we can avoid only by saying nothing, doing nothing, and being nothing.” — Denis Waitley

How do you find inspiration after a big failure? Here are some tips.

Failing is the part of our life. In the babyhood, we learnt to walk after a countless time of failing. In the adult stage of life we handle important and sensitive issues and failing in them gives us a shock that is hard to tolerate. This makes us de-motivated to face the next challenges.

As I have said that failing is natural. So, raising up after each failing is the real challenge. You have to believe that people who have never failed has not tried anything yet. You are advanced from them in at least two ways. One is, you have tried something, and another is you know a way that will not make it successful.

Freelancers often face this problem. Failing in winning a project bid makes them de-motivated, but they must learn to move on.

Tia Moreen has written an article about how to find inspiration after a great failure. Here is the article. Tia advises to accept your weaknesses and failures. I totally agree with her. What do you think?

Productivity Tip Of The Week

Do you practice these bad habits? You must break them to be more productive.
There are some habits that we regularly practice and don’t realize that these are the reasons of our less productivity.

We practice them in our way of work and in our daily routine. But, these practices must be stopped to increase productivity in your freelance working as well as in your daily life. For this, you have to identify them first.

Entrepreneur.Com has published an article by Travis Bradberry where he has identified 9 bad habits and these should be stopped practicing from now. The article is here. The bad habit number six gives me the most trouble! What is the habit that give you the most trouble?

Work-Life Balance Tip Of The Week

How to live with job stress that isn't going away? Here are 7 ways.
A survey shows that only 20 percent of Americans aren’t stressed at work. So, what about the other eighty percent? Stress in the workplace is a great issue in the corporate world.

There are some stresses that remain unavoidable in the workplace. Working on various projects, overload of works, job security, etc. are contributing to the stress. These stresses may also be seen in the freelance work. So, freelancers should know how to react to the problems and how to handle stressful situations.

Murray Newlands' article in Entrepreneur looks at the issues. Here is his article. Defining your priorities is a good tip, what do you think?

Financial Tip Of The Week

If you live in the U.S., do you know, how college costs and financial aid affects tax returns?
If you live in the United States this is an introduction to an important article by Jodi Okun appearing in The Balance. Who doesn’t want to reduce the amount of taxes? A great way of reducing the taxes is a tax deduction.

Sometimes, we miss a tax deduction just by not keeping the records and documents of costs and pay taxes that could be deducted. Some tricks of the documentation can entitle you for a tax deduction.
The college costs that you pay for your children and the financial aid or scholarship you get from others for your children can help you reduce taxes if you follow some tips. The income tax law can be different in other countries, but the tips are often very similar.

In The Balance article by Jodi I believe that she has done a great service to readers by way of education in financial management tips. I think that the last tip is the most important. Here is the article.
